6.External Network

From Home select Create an external network

external-01

Select the appropriate port-group and click Next

external-02

Click Add

external-03

Now add here the details of your EXTERNAL network. My external network just happened to be on an internal range as I got a lot of routing going on here.

The static IP Pool is a range of IPs which will be assigned to virtual machines you give access directly to the external network.

Click OK

external-04

Click Next

external-05

Give it a name and click Next

external-06

Click Finish

external-07
